Calming Comfort: Welcoming Harmony and a Love for Smiles
Having been a dentist for more than 20 years, Dr. Marshall had something special in mind when she set up her new practice in 2018. She linked her expertise in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and created a place that breathes patient-focused dental care in every detail.
“I had a clear vision of what I wanted for my patients. Anything but standard. I believe that modern dentistry has to offer more. For me, that starts with a broad portfolio of services in general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry and a holistic view of the patient’s individual needs. I love the variety. I love how my patients are excited when they see themselves with a beautiful new smile. It changes their lives,” says Dr. Marshall.
Aesthetics is a guiding principle in more than Dr. Marshall’s professional work. “I like simple, clear lines. Yet I also wanted a bit of a feminine touch to be visible. I like the clean feeling that simple clear lines suggest, patients always say how clean my office feels. The touches of gold and soft colors along with my own personal artwork behind the front desk add feminine touches and I think evoke a gentle feeling,” she says. Her practice welcomes patients in a relaxing atmosphere with an interior design held in soft shades of rose, cream, white and gold. Artfully integrated, color-matched accessories like lamps, plants and pictures create a calming harmony and a comfortable living-room feel. A boutique lighting concept with designer lamps and lots of natural light, create the calming comfort of a warm and open atmosphere.
When Dr. Marshall stresses that she wanted her practice to set her apart, she thinks of both design and technology. “I looked for highly functional, comfortable, and aesthetic solutions. And I invested in digital dentistry, since the technology is getting better and better and more efficient. CEREC and the Orthophos digital x-ray are now integral parts of smooth routines. And digitalization also means less paperwork, which is great.”
