CEREC SpeedFire is the smallest and fastest sintering furnace on the market and can sinter a full-contour zirconium oxide crown in approximately 14 minutes*. The advantages of full-contour zirconia can thus also be used for chairside treatment.
CEREC SpeedFire can process the Dentsply Sirona ceramic block materials as well as partner materials from Ivoclar Vivadent, VITA Zahnfabrik, 3M Dental, Kuraray Noritake Dental and GC.

The CEREC Zirconia+ Workflow - Final restoration in a single visit!
1. Scan
Spare your patients the discomfort of a conventional impression tray. To take digital impressions, use CEREC Primescan or CEREC Omnicam. These intraoral scanners for precise 3D images make scanning easy, intuitive and ergonomic.
2. Design
With the CEREC Software you can design customized restorations. As the initial proposals are very accurate and the user interface is clearly structured and intuitive, this takes very little time.
3. Manufacture
CEREC Primemill and the CEREC Software are optimally synchronized with one another. The milling cycle for the full contour zirconia restoration is extremely precise, giving restorations smooth surfaces, smooth margins, and very fine fissures.
4. Sintering / Finalization
Full contour zirconia restorations are sintered and glazed chairside in the compact CEREC SpeedFire. The induction technology allows unmatched short sintering and firing times. Operation is very intuitive and simple.

Frequently Asked Questions regarding sintering and glazing with CEREC
During sintering, fine-grained ceramic or metallic materials are heated up at a temperature below the melting temperature of the main components. The shape of the workpiece remains intact. The material condenses and shrinks. A green body is formed which solidifies by temperature. The sintered product only then gets its final properties such as hardness, strength or temperature conductivity. The sintering shrinkage is taken into account during the construction of the restoration – the workpiece is milled larger by the shrinkage factor.
The induction furnace CEREC SpeedFire combines the processes of sintering and glazing in one compact, user-friendly device. This makes it possible to use all the strengths of zirconium dioxide also for a chairside treatment. The CEREC SpeedFire reaches a maximum heating rate of 300 ° C per minute – no preheating or holding temperatures are necessary. Its induction technology ensures a perfectly homogeneous temperature distribution.
The extremely short sintering times are determined by the dry milling of the pre-sintered material. A drying process of several hours is not necessary. Its dimensions make the CEREC SpeedFire a compact device that fits in any practice.
CEREC SpeedFire can process the Dentsply Sirona ceramic blocs CEREC Tessera and CEREC Zirconia as well as CEREC Zirconia meso, CELTRA DUO and CEREC Bloc C and PC. Furthermore, the furnace is authorised to process IPS.emax CAD (by Ivoclar Vivadent), VITA SUPRINITY PC (by VITA Zahnfabrik) , Chairside Zirconia (by 3M Dental), KATANA Zirconia (by Kuraray Noritake Dental) or the Initial LiSi Block (by GC).
